Access Fund work in New Jersey
- Crafted Action Alert and letter of support on behalf of AccessNJ, to support their efforts to amend the New Jersey State Park Code to explicitly allow rock climbing (2007)
- Facilitated outreach communications with NJ Regional Coordinator to mobilize climbers to ask that climbing be listed as an official activity of the North Jersey Highlands. (2006)
- Provided feedback and support to Access NJ re efforts to overturn climbing ban in Hunterdon County (2005)
- Conducted a site visit to New Jersey to attend a grassroots access meeting hosted by John Anderson, one of our regional coordinators. (2005)
- Provided ongoing feedback and support to Hunterdon County, New Jersey (2005)
- Supporting individual activists and local climbing organizations: New Jersey: Through the work of NJAccess president John Anderson the Division of Parks & Forestry adopted a policy that would lift the ban on rock climbing in New Jersey State Parks subject to the climber's signing of a waiver of liability. The Access Fund provided support and resources throughout the process, including a letter to the New Jersey Governor’s office. (2004)
