Access Fund work in Oklahoma
- Regional coordinator work: Oklahoma: organized a clean-up of Chandler Park; producing educational brochures for Quartz Mtn. and Wichita Mountains Refuge areas; updating climbing community about local access issues. (2004)
- Climbing preservation grants awarded in 2004: Wichita Mountains Climbers Coalition, Oklahoma. A grant was awarded to the Wichita Mountains Climbers Coalition (WMCC) to produce climber education brochures at two climbing areas: the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge and Baldy Point at Quartz Mountain Nature Park. The brochures will be made available at trailheads, visitor centers, and climber kiosks free of charge. (2004)
- Successful advocacy work that helped lift the fixed anchor moratorium at the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, OK, the only USFW jurisdiction with significant wilderness climbing utilizing fixed anchors. (2003)
- Quartz Mountain, OK. Purchased 60-acres of privately owned property adjacent to Baldy Point climbing area. Acquired land contains quality bouldering opportunities and is now permanently protected as part of the Quartz Mountain Park system. (2003)
- Dedicated $18,000 and carried out trail projects at Quartz Mountain, OK; Little Si and Frenchman Coulee, WA; Quartz Mountain, OK; Enchanted Tower and El Rito, NM. (2002)
