Access Fund worked with CCC to finalize a trail easement with Chimney Rock Village and the Fire Department to establish a trail through the Chimney Rock Village land on Round Top Mountain. The Village Boulders Trail is now in progress by the CCC and volunteers. When complete, climbers and hikers will have access to over 50 boulder problems, a small waterfall, and scenic views. CCC holds the trail and climbing easement with Access Fund as the co-assignee in case this property is incorporated into the state trail system, which requires the land trust accreditation that Access Fund maintains.
