Join the Boise Climbers Alliance for an Adopt a Crag at the Black Cliffs. We will be maintaining the trails on the north side of the Boise River and updating water bars, trails, and staging areas at the cliffs.

Volunteers should meet at the Short Cliffs parking area across from the Diversion Dam at 10 am. .

For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep the following in mind:

• Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

• Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

• Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain karma points!

• Work includes lifting and carrying up to 50-100 pounds, walking on unstable terrain, and being exposed to the elements (sun, rain, heat, cold, everything in between and beyond.) We are able to accommodate a wide range of abilities and experience levels - please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your participation.

• Although we'll be outside, if you are feeling ill or have had any recent exposure to Covid please reconsider and stay home to rest up!

All volunteers must complete the Access Fund waiver prior to volunteering.
