Join the Conservation Team, CRAGS, and the Tahoe Climbers Coalition at Lover’s Leap to work on the historic Pony Express Trail! The team will be rehabilitating this historic route that climbers use to access the crags throughout Lover’s Leap. The team will be engaging in treadwork, adding drains, and putting in stone steps in order to stabilize and harden the Pony Express Trail.
Meet at 9 AM at the Strawberry Station and we’ll walk together to Lover’s Leap. Work wraps up around 3 PM.
For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep in mind the following:
Wear closed toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.
Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.
Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain sending karma points!
