Join the Ohio Climbers Coalition for our next Adopt-a-Crag event at the Mad River Gorge in Springfield on Sunday, September 8th from 10am- 3pm! At this event, we'll be working on building a small retaining wall at the recently developed Eastern Slabs area.

Volunteers should meet at the main kiosk to complete waivers and gather supplies for the workday. The OCC will bring extra work gloves, tools, personal protective equipment, and water and snacks. All volunteers should come prepared for the workday by wearing sturdy closed toed shoes, clothes that you are comfortable working in (we'll be hauling materials, digging, drilling, and hammering as part of the workday), water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray.
