A first-of-its kind strategic climbing conservation report for the state of Tennessee.

Released in 2024, this document combines a baseline inventory of known climbing areas–protected and threatened–in Tennessee with a series of analyses identifying climbing sites with multiple conservation values. As Access Fund continues to invest in the state, these top priority sites will not only serve to expand the offering of climbing resources but also protect key landscapes that provide climate resiliency, species diversity, and healthy communities. This document is a roadmap that will help lead to a sustainable climbing environment for the residents and visitors of Tennessee.
