About the Design
Known for its granite domes, eggs, and cliffs that push up out of the desert floor, Cochise Stronghold holds a special place in the hearts of climbers throughout the southwest—and anyone at all who’s ever had the pleasure of spending time there. The Stronghold was an ancestral home to the Chiricahua Apache and takes its name from the great Apache leader Cochise. Head over to the blog to read more about artist Vernan Kee and his bold depiction of the Stronghold, as well as resources to learn more about the Stronghold itself.
