Tan Corridor Adopt a Crag

Volunteers are needed to work on the Tan Corridor Trail. We'll add steps and build belay pads. Work will run until 2pm and then volunteers are welcome to climb. Please register by emailing the event host at Alexclimber@outlook.com.

Plan to bring work gloves, water, food, sunscreen, rain gear. Please no shorts or open-toe shoes. We will have a few pairs of spare gloves,

Directions: Take US 285 to Elk Creek Road and find the Park entrance. If you don’t have a park pass, tell the entrance attendant you there for the Adopt a Crag. Meet at the Lazy V parking lot at 8am. We reserve parking for the event.

For all Adopt a Crag events, please keep in mind the following:

  • Wear closed-toed shoes. Long sleeves and pants are recommended.

  • Bring water, snacks, and extra layers for the elements.

  • Be prepared to be challenged, work hard, and gain sending karma points!

  • Although we'll be outside, if you are feeling ill or have had any recent exposure to Covid please reconsider and stay home to rest up!
